Not AI skills.
Thinking skills.

The sessions use AI as the subject matter. The actual skills are something else entirely.

🧠

Critical thinking

The habit of asking "how do I check this?" before believing what AI — or anyone — tells them.

🎯

Scepticism without cynicism

Knowing AI makes mistakes without dismissing everything. Understanding what it is good at and bad at.

✍️

Precise communication

Learning that clearer questions get better answers — a skill that transfers to every conversation.

🔍

Research rigour

Verifying facts, tracing claims to sources, understanding why "AI said so" is never enough.

💡

Creative confidence

Using AI as a collaborator without letting it replace their own thinking and voice.

🛡

Safe independence

The instincts and habits to use AI tools throughout their life without being manipulated by them.

What a session
actually looks like.

Every session is 25 minutes. Every session follows the same structure. No preparation needed by the parent — just show up and follow the page.

1

Warm Up

Your child answers a question without AI first — then compares their answer to AI's.

2 minutes
2

The Activity

Follow exact prompts we provide. Copy, paste, read together, discuss.

15 minutes
3

The Twist

Deliberately find something AI got wrong. Every session has one.

5 minutes
4

Safety Moment

One safety rule, read aloud by the parent. Child repeats it back.

2 minutes
5

Badge Earned

Your child earns the session badge. Parent marks it complete.

Example — Session 5: Catch AI Lying
🔍 Today your child becomes a fact-checker.
The goal: find 3 things AI gets wrong. It is a competition — parent and child race to spot errors first.
One of the prompts they use
Count exactly how many times the letter 'r' appears in the word 'strawberry'.
AI often miscounts letters. When your child catches it, they see — firsthand — that AI sounds confident even when it is completely wrong. That is the lesson that sticks.

Why is this free?

Clarigital is an education platform. Everything on it — 534 marketing guides, 80 AI tool guides, this curriculum — is free. No ad model. No subscription. No catch. We believe this information should be accessible.

🔒

What data is collected?

Nothing from your child. Sessions run entirely in your browser. There are no child accounts, no logins, no forms. Progress is saved locally on your device. We never see it.

👨‍👩‍👧

Do I need to know about AI?

No. You learn alongside your child. The Parent Notes on each session page tell you exactly what concept is being taught, what questions to ask, and what to watch for. You are not a teacher — you are a co-learner.

📱

What device do we need?

Any device with a browser — laptop, tablet, or phone. A laptop or tablet is easiest so you can sit side by side. Your child should never use the device alone during sessions.

🤖

Which AI tool do we use?

ChatGPT (free, no login needed for basic use) or Claude.ai. You use your own account — never create one in your child's name. The sessions work with either tool.

⏸️

What if we miss sessions?

Nothing happens. There are no deadlines, no cohorts, no expiry. Come back whenever you are ready. Your progress is saved. The content will be here.

Why not just let them
watch YouTube?

Fair question. Here is an honest answer.

What matters YouTube / self-learning AI Explorer
Safety habits
Privacy, not trusting blindly, recognising manipulation
Not covered. Most AI tutorials skip safety entirely or treat it as a disclaimer. Built in. One specific safety rule in every single session, reinforced until it is habit.
Critical thinking
Questioning what AI says, verifying facts
Mostly absent. Tutorials show capabilities, not limitations. Children see the impressive outputs. The whole point. Every session includes deliberately finding something AI gets wrong.
Parent involvement
You know what your child is learning
Zero. Your child watches alone. You have no visibility into what they are absorbing. You are there. Sessions are designed for parent and child together. You see everything.
Age-appropriate depth
Complexity matched to developmental stage
Hit or miss. Most content is made for adults or teenagers and adapted informally. Purpose-built. Three programmes (Starter, Explorer, Builder) matched to ages 7–10, 8–11, 10–13.
Something they make
Tangible output from every session
Rarely. Passive consumption. Watching someone else use AI is not the same as using it. Every session. A story, a quiz, a plan, a project. Something they created and can show someone.

🔴

Never share personal information

No real name, school, age, city, address, phone number, or photos — ever. Not even when AI asks.

🟠

AI makes mistakes — always check

It sounds confident either way. The habit of asking "how would I check this?" is a life skill.

🟡

AI is a tool, not a friend

It has no feelings, no knowledge of your child, and no care for them. Real relationships are with people.

🔵

Don't use AI to do your homework

Use it to understand your homework. The difference is between learning and copying.

🟣

If it feels wrong, close the tab and tell a grown-up

No explanation needed. No questions asked. Just close it. Always.
